Faucet
The native token - meaning the token required to pay for transaction fees for any transactions on the network - is the SAND token. This is also the case for SANDchain testnet, which requires testnet SAND to be used for any transaction fees.
To provide easy access to SAND on SANDchain testnet, a SAND faucet is available via the SANDchain Caldera Hub.
Each faucet request will issue 0.01 SAND. There is a 24-hour cooldown period between any SAND faucet requests for an individual wallet address.
Testnet SAND holdings is not being rewarded in any way. Holding or accruing testnet SAND will yield no benefits or recognition.
Using the Faucet
Navigate to https://sandchain-hub.caldera.xyz/
Enter the recipient address in the relevant field (the wallet address that will receive the testnet SAND on SANDchain testnet)
Click “Request”
Under normal network conditions, the testnet SAND will be delivered to the recipient wallet in a matter of seconds.
