Connecting to SANDchain

If you have connected to the the SANDchain Quest Platform or the SANDchain Manifesto, SANDchain testnet would have already been added to your wallet. But you can also add the network to your connected wallet via the SANDchain Caldera Hub or manually add the network information.

Adding via the SANDchain Caldera Hub

1. Navigate to https://sandchain-hub.caldera.xyz/

2. Ensure you have Metamask installed on your browser

3. Click “Add to Wallet”

You will see a confirmation pop-up in your browser that the network has been added to your wallet.

Adding Manually to Metamask

1. Install Metamask on your applicable browser

2. Create your wallet if you do not already have one

3. Open the extension and click then burger menu

1. Select “Networks”

1. Select “Add a Custom Network”

1. Enter the following Network Information in each applicable field:

• Network Name: Silica

• Default RPC URL: https://sandchain-rpc.caldera.xyz/http

You can leave the RPC Name field blank

• Chain ID: 6252

• Currency Symbol: SAND

• Block Explorer URL: https://sandchain-explorer.caldera.xyz/

7. Click “Save”

SANDchain testnet has now been added to your wallet.
